Bindi Composition Chardonnay 2005
I tried this about a month ago, during a family get together, and thought it was delicious. I only managed to have a glass though, as it would seem my family had similar thoughts about the wine. Tonight I have had the wine to myself and can report the following:
Pale with hints of green. The nose is an elusive amalgam - the components I could discern included flint, bruised apple, peach skin and lemon. High acid, sour, mouth wateringly refreshing. The acid gives the wine a pleasing minerality and length.
Very good - excellent. (Disclaimer - I'm fond of crisp, verging on tart, whites.)
Would be lovely with oysters.
