Hello Edward,
47mm of summer rain! This is a blessing not given to my place here: Provence. Rain is only here between November and the Cannes film festival. I have just been discussing how to move a 5-ton olive tree and I am afraid I will have to pour it water for at least two summers.
Would you have a species name for the beautiful leaves in your beautiful photo?
Félicien,
I will have to check what the exact species is and will endevour to let you know.
Our rain should be the exact reserve - from April - September, so a February downpour is welcome indeed.
I am pretty sure you know what I see out of my window...I don't remember what water is like when it falls in a liquid form
Félicien,
Identifying the cultivar is proving to be harder than I thought. Not sure that I want to submit a leaf for DNA analysis! I am easily obsessed though, and I may just have to visit the library to see if I can get closer to the truth. . .
Joe,
We're expecting a run of 100 degree Fahrenheit days next week. . .
Edward,
Thank you for looking the cultivar up. I don't need to know the name. I was just curious.
So feel free to forget about this cultivar question.
