Roda Reserva 2004
Rioja, Spain. Tempranillo. 14%. Cork. Approx $A65.
A beguiling and enticing wine. Beautifully packaged, this is charming, graceful and delicious. My photo is very similar to last year, and I find myself just as impressed with this vintage. To taste, this is a slowly tied knot. Lush, plump and loose to begin, before slowly but surely tightening and gripping. The tannins are excellent, building and enveloping, lingering and satisfying. This is quite superb.
Excellent.

Do you have RODA I on the bench too Eduardo? I only have 04 Cirsion but looks like I should grab a few of these too.

A lovely wine, well worth putting in the cellar for a few years. I like your description, its very holistic.
GW,
You should grab this and Roda I, you will love both...
GW,
So far I've withstood the temptation! I must agree with Dave, this is very worthwhile and one to add to the stash.
Dave,
Thank you. There is something so very fluid and supple about this wine. . .
