Postcard: Room with a view

I've been in two minds about this post. With the current grim state of the share market, now seems the right time.

To quote the Wall Street Journal: And every day you hang on, hoping it's going to stop, and it falls again and you kick yourself for not selling yesterday. . .

Regarding the image: To the South of Bondi beach, heading towards Bronte there is a strange man made construction in amongst the eroded rock of the cliff face. The inhabitant is clearly a determined and hardy soul with a good eye for real estate. I wonder if he would mind a neighbour. . .

Jhyimy (the name of the person living at South Bondi) is in constant conflict with the council and other local residents. He suffers mental illness and other ailments related to living rough. Things would have to be pretty bad before I join him.

Gavin,

Thanks for the information. I've added a link after doing a quick goggle of Jhyimy.

interesting photo and post-- I have an affinity for these constructions

Genevelyn,

It's an interesting juxtaposition. On one hand it seems to suggest a need or desire for isolation, but on the other, the location is so attention seeking and prominent.

Thank you for solving something that was a mystery. I was at Bondi in August with my brother and we could not figure out who would live here and how "they" were getting away with it.

Glad to hear it's a guy like this.
