Joh. Jos. Prüm Graacher Himmelreich Auslese 2004

Mosel, Germany. Riesling. 7.5%. Cork. Approx $A70

997 wino sapien posts. . .

Petit, pert and nearly perfect. After 5 days of eating and drinking (at least 30 different wines from memory) this is a welcome antidote. With a fleeting spritzig this is light, sharp and sweet. Sulphurous and stone like to begin before smelling and tasting like a freshly opened bag of sun dried apricots. A superb life affirming wine.

Excellent.

Boxing Day saw a trio from Graach's "Kingdom of Heaven" open at our house. Willi Schaefer, Kabinett, 2006, Dr Loosen, same, and a Max Richter, Spatlese. All exceptional. Must be good dirt?

That's a lot of posts, Doc.

The Richter was the elder statesmen of the bunch, a '97. Meant to mention that before.

A lot of time wasting. . . but at least my sleepless nights have some form now!
