Pewsey Vale 'The Contours' Riesling 2002
Eden Vale, South Australia. Riesling. 12.5%. Screwcap. Approx $A28.
A superb wine, which retains all its youth, vigour and tightness. Released 5 years from vintage this is lively, concentrated and piercing. Smelling of lemon, lime and fennel this is notably long and suitably mineral.
Excellent.

A beauty indeed Ed, fantastic wine, reasonably priced. Same pedigree as Grosset's Polish Hill Riesling. I really enjoy the '02. You've had a look at the '03 already?
Mo,
Yes, it is a fantastic wine, I plan to buy a few more to stick away for 2018 and beyond.
You're a very wise man
Nice Wine Edward. I had a 98/99 (my shoddy memory again fails me) a few months ago and it was still incredibly vibrant. I shall be seeking a couple of the 02 to attack Christmas with, though I suspect a large dose of Ether might be more apt.
