Dr. Loosen Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett 2007

Mosel, Germany. Riesling. 7.5%. Screwcap. Approx $A35.

The wines of Ernst Loosen have become so widely available, you forget sometimes how lovely and delicious they are. . . Seamless, carefree and unforced, the balance is exemplary, it's trim and tight, green apple cut with lemon. . . delicate and sweet but coupled with a welcome sting. 92. Now - 2020.

I've had their entry level rieslings and really enjoyed them, so will have to make the price jump up to this one and try it.

Red,

Well worth it, though this one seems especially good. I wonder if it is partly the vintage.

Edward,

Couldn't see a contact me link anywhere on your site, so I put this here;

Hope you enjoy it.

Brad,

Thanks for the link, my contact details are buried on the "about wino sapien page."

I've added a link the site in the body of the original post for those interested.

Despite the impracticalities and the likelihood that the wines will develop far to quickly, I like the test tube concept.

Edward,

I had a sinking feeling you'd come back at me with the information I failed to find...
