It's a hardy herb. I first planted it three or four years ago, and it has been left, largely forgotten and unwatered, partially choked by weeds and daisies. Since clearing the away the competition and giving it some attention it has been prolific in throwing up new growth.

Yes they do look like Chinese Garlic Chives. Mine are flowering at the moment, and the flowers also taste like Garlic, which makes them a pretty cool garnish (Thanks Peter Gilmore).

Not sure what to do to get mine to flower, though I suspect a dose of potash might nudge things along. . .
